I am Evan (Yvonne), an Iraqi\Canadian Writer, Journalist, Artist Feminist & LGBTQ+ Activist. Lives in Toronto, ON

• Translated numerous articles for various Arab and international newspapers and magazines.
• Worked as an illustrator for several local newspapers.
• Published literary works in numerous newspapers, magazines, and online platforms.
• Designed and created book covers for various publications.
• Participated in several art exhibitions and cultural festivals in Iraq.
• Received several certificates of appreciation and symbolic awards for these contributions.
• Editor of the English page in Nathr, a quarterly cultural magazine (2009–2010).
• Editor-in-Chief of Equality, a newspaper published by the Organization for Women’s Freedom in Iraq (2011–2014).
• Editor-in-Chief of Al-Shabaka, a magazine published by the Organization for Women’s Freedom in Iraq (2012).
• Screenwriter for short films recently produced and nominated at several international festivals.
